1. LB Isaiah Simmons

Whether it be on special teams, or as a linebacker, Isaiah Simmons has had his fair share of incredible plays this season. So, it only seems right that the Giants reward his play by giving him an increase of snaps against the Eagles. This, combined with some recent poor play from Micah McFadden, could make it easy for Wink Martindale to implement the former No. 8 overall pick into the defense more.

This season, despite playing in just 342 snaps, Simmons has racked up 44 tackles, seven pressures, a sack, and two tackles for loss. Alongside this, he also has the 10th-ranked pass coverage grade amongst linebackers according to PFF.

Simmons may not be necessarily better than McFadden, but he certainly does things at a higher level than McFadden and is a more versatile player. Against a team like the Eagles, this skill set could very well come in handy and may even play a big difference in the outcome of the game.

It was just two weeks ago against the Eagles when McFadden threw Olamide Zaccheaus into Boston Scott on a kick return which forced a fumble and played a big role in New York turning things around in the second half. If he can even do something remotely similar to this in Week 18, it could potentially earn Simmons a new contract with Big Blue in 2024.
