With how bad the NY Giants have been in recent seasons, they've had the chance to select some interesting young talent in the NFL Draft. Some have panned out well, however, others have left more to be desired and could be on their way out of New York sooner rather than later.

These four young guns may have had potential at one point or another, but looking at things now, we're not sure they have much left in the tank. At the very least, they don't bring enough to be counted on as reliable options for the 2024 season. With that said, here are four youngsters who feel like a lost cause these days:

4. CB Aaron Robinson

There was a reasonable amount of hype surrounding Aaron Robinson coming out of the 2021 NFL Draft, as the UCF product showcased a lot of traits that made it seem like he could be solid in the league. However, three years into his career, we've heard almost nothing from Robinson, as he's played just 11 games in this time.

While in these games he's shown a reasonable amount of potential, the complete inability to stay healthy is a massive problem and has likely hindered what could have been a good career. Not to mention, the Giants already have plenty of other corners who have not only looked better, but have actually remained on the field as well.

Guys like Deonte Banks, Cor'Dale Flott, Tre Hawkins, and others all make it very difficult for us to see Robinson getting significant snaps if he ever returns from injury. Maybe Robinson can prove us wrong, but with all the mystery surrounding the injury he sustained this season, this is doubtful.

In his lone, somewhat healthy season, Robinson played 11 games and allowed 16 receptions on 28 targets for 153 yards, one touchdown, and two pass breakups. While these numbers are rather solid for a third-round corner, the lack of availability hurts his case to return more than anything else.
