During the second half of last season, pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux showcased exaclty why the NY Giants used the No. 5 overall pick on him. Despite a bit of a slow start to his rookie season, Thibodeaux was a force to close his first year out.

Now, you already know the youngster wants to hit the ground running this fall and make an immediate splash. How sweet would it be to see him take down Dak Prescott a time or two once Week 1 arrives? Leading up to that game, and training camp later this month, Thibodeaux is going beast mode in the weight room.

Need further proof of that? He took to social media to show a shredded look. This is bad news for the rest of the NFC East.

Thibodeaux finished '22 with 33 solo tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles. We also can't forget about his incredible touchdown vs. the Washington Commanders, which helped the Giants post the memorable victory in primetime.

The playmaker fell way short of breaking Azeez Ojulari's rookie sacks record of eight, but that doesn't matter to him. Moving forward, Thibodeaux wants to do whatever is needed to help the Giants post a win each Sunday.

He doesn't have any lofty personal goals leading up to the new campaign, which could prove to be a good thing. Thibodeaux is going to take things week by week and not put any extra pressure on himself to live up to major expectations.

With that said, if he and Ojulari can stay healthy from start to finish this fall and winter, then it would be a huge victory for Brian Daboll and Wink Martindale. Thibodeaux will be ready to be at his best in early September and fans can't wait to see what he'll be able to do against the Cowboys.
