3. Josh Allen

One of the top free-agent pass rushers is edge Josh Allen. The two-time Pro Bowler has been with the Jacksonville Jaguars since he was drafted by the team in 2019. After another impressive season with the Jags, we can expect Allen to earn a deserving contract by whichever team he signs with in free agency. It won't be surprising if Schoen and the Giants pursue the former first-rounder, as Pro Football Focus listed Big Blue as one of five potential landing spots for the free-agent edge-rusher.

This past season, Allen had 66 combined tackles (43 solo) and 17.5 sacks, second most in the league behind Steelers' linebacker T.J. Watt (19), 17 tackles for a loss, and 33 quarterback hits in 17 games. The outside linebacker set a career-high and franchise record for most sacks in a season. Allen's performance earned him 2024 Pro Bowl honors for the second time in his career.

While it's unlikely the Giants do sign Allen this offseason, the free-agent pass-rusher has undoubtedly proven to be one of the best in the league and he is still worth pursuing; however, I can't imagine Jacksonville would let their defensive star play walk that easily this offseason. We can expect Jacksonville to franchise tag Allen, but regardless, the Giants should look into signing him and evaluate their options.
