3. Isaiah Simmons

Giants fans were thrilled to acquire the former No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He didn't work out too well for the Arizona Cardinals and the Giants were more than happy to add him to a young linebacking core. In limited time, Isaiah Simmons has made a solid impact for the team.

He hopped in and you have to love his willingness to help out the team in any way possible. Simmons has played significant snaps more on special teams rather than defense. However, he's made quite a splash whenever he's been given a shot by Martindale. Remember his game-sealing pick-six against the Commanders? Of course you do.

This is the kind of play you'd expect from a former first-rounder and it came at the right time for the Giants. While Simmons has certainly had his ups and downs thus far in his career, we like his potential for the Giants, especially because of his versatility. We'd also like to see Simmons see more snaps on D to close out the campaign.
