This is what the NY Giants traded for. During the offseason, Joe Schoen made quite the splash when he was able to land Isaiah Simmons from the Arizona Cardinals for a late-round pick. Well, Simmons had one of the best plays of the game vs. Washington.

In the fourth quarter, with the Commanders driving and looking like they were getting ready to take the lead, Simmons had other ideas. A terrible Sam Howell decision led to a Simmons interception, which he took back to the house for six.

On that play, a Commanders fan was LIVID with what just happened, so they decided to throw a Bud Light can at Simmons. Seriously? Believe it or not, that's exactly what happened:

That throw was a bit off the mark... did Howell throw it?! The Giants defense was able to force five turnovers on the day, with Howell throwing three interceptions. None were worse than the one to Simmons, as it helped the Giants post their 31-19 victory.

With the win, the G-Men are now 3-8 on the season and they were able to snap a three-game losing streak. Finally, right? This team has been desperate for some good news, but it just hasn't come in of late. With Washington driving, there was a ton of worry Howell would record a go-ahead score.

Instead, Simmons came down with his monster turnover and people all over D.C. had their Sunday ruined. Sorry, Commanders fans, but we're thanking the Football Gods that Simmons was able to record his incredible play.

As for the person who tossed the beer at him, try and make some better decisions moving forward. That's a classless move. If anything, sit back and enjoy the rest of that beverage the next time you see the Giants take down your squad. Sorry, we're not sorry.
