5 Tommy DeVito plays that prove he should be back with the Giants next season
4. 41-yard pass to Jalin Hyatt along the sideline against the Patriots
One of the most impressive deep throws we have seen throughout the last four games from the rookie quarterback came in the third quarter of the Giants' Week 12 victory over the New England Patriots when DeVito connected with fellow rookie Jalin Hyatt for 41 yards along the sideline.
While the Giants didn't necessarily score on that drive, Hyatt's reception built momentum, and the G-Men went on to win another thriller 10-7 over New England. This season, Hyatt has 19 receptions, 343 yards, and 18.1 yards per catch.
The rookie wideout's best game came against the Patriots, where Hyatt had five catches for 109 yards. We can only hope the rookie continues to develop with the Giants and build up chemistry with DeVito over time to emerge as one of the league's top deep threats.
