For a while now, NY Giants fans have been hearing all about the potential there is for Darren Waller to be a stud for this offense in 2023. Despite only being able to play in 20 games over the past two seasons, Waller is back to full health and ready to make a splash for head man Brian Daboll.

From the moment the G-Men traded for the former Pro Bowl TE, there's been excitement about what he'll be able to do with Daniel Jones throwing him the pigskin. The two have been working overtime to build their chemistry and Waller has been enjoying every minute of it:

NY Giants TE Darren Waller has a great relationship with Daniel Jones

"It's been a really cool relationship so far - just ego removed from the jump where we can both say what we would expect from each other on a certain route or timing wise. We can translate things from a meeting or a conversation to the field really fast. I feel like that's why we've been able to have success so far. "

The fact that these two have been able to create a bond like this so fast is awesome. Waller has faced plenty of adversity in recent seasons, missing 17 games for the Raiders in 2021 and 2022 combined. However, he's putting that in the past.

In the lone preseason drive No. 12 was out on the field for, he hauled in three passes from Jones on four targets for 30 yards. Come Sunday night, the two will look to take things to the next level with the Dallas Cowboys making their way to MetLife Stadium.

When healthy, Waller is a beast and he will give opposing defenses all kinds of problems. From start to finish this campaign, Danny Dimes will be looking his way consistently to let him do his thing. If you think the relationship between these two is great now, just wait until they start making plays in the regular season - that's when the real fun will begin.
