Get ready, NY Giants fans. The G-Men are back in town for their first home preseason game of the summer. Soon enough, we'll be getting ready for the Sunday Night Football meeting with the Cowboys to open the regular season, but we'll take this Carolina showdown for now.

There should be plenty of Big Blue supporters in the stands at MetLife Stadium for this one against the Panthers, as the expectation is that we'll see Daniel Jones and other starters for some action. Could a touchdown pass to Darren Waller be on the way? With that said, what time is the opening kick?

The NY Giants will host the Carolina Panthers on Friday night at 7 p.m. ET

These two teams will meet at 7 p.m. ET. What better way to start your weekend than to see Danny Dimes, Saquon Barkley, Waller and others in action? This game comes a week after the loss to the Lions, which was frustrating to watch.

Head man Brian Daboll is going to want to see major improvements from both his offensive line and the special teams groups. The o-line made life difficult for quarterback Tommy DeVito, while a 95-yard punt return for a TD was allowed by the special teams group. Not good.

Looking ahead to the Panthers showdown, there's plenty of reason to be excited. No. 1 on the list is that we'll see some starters on the field. Get ready for what should be an entertaining battle, as Carolina will look to make noise as well.
