The NFL offseason has flown by, as it's almost time for squads across the league to make their way back to town for training camp. For the NY Giants, the rookies will report for camp in about two weeks, while the veteran playmakers will head to East Rutherford the following week.
There have been some fantastic additions for both sides of the ball, which has people jacked up to see what the G-Men can get done this season. Well, Brian Daboll will have some work to do in cutting down the roster later this summer. Who will make it out ready to make plays once Week 1 arrives?
When do the Giants report for camp this summer?
As we mentioned above, the Giants rookies will be the first ones to report, with the first-year studs arriving for camp on July 18. After that, Daniel Jones, Dexter Lawrence, Andrew Thomas and the rest of the vets will arrive on July 25.
After a few weeks of hard work at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, the G-Men will head to Detroit for an Aug. 11 showdown with the Lions for the first contest of the preseason. After that, it's back-to-back preseason showdowns at MetLife Stadium.
First, the Giants will take on the Panthers on Aug. 18. Then on Aug. 26, the Jets and Giants will face off in the last preseason matchup of the summer. People can't wait to see what Daboll's men can do in camp and the preseason.
Soon enough, Week 1 vs. the Dallas Cowboys will be here. In that Sunday Night Football showdown, the Giants will hope to record an upset over Dak Prescott and Co. in order to start the new campaign the right away. Fans can't wait to see how things play out in '23.
