The NY Giants aren't going anywhere in 2024 so now it's time to look toward 2025 and what the future could have in store for this franchise. As of now, the Giants would hold the fourth pick in the 2025 NFL Draft with the Jaguars, Titans, and Browns picking ahead of them.

With two of those three teams needing a quarterback (or at least a better quarterback), it wouldn't be crazy if the Giants still had to move up to one of the top two spots to ensure they get one of the better signal-callers in the draft. One of the best quarterback prospects in the 2025 draft is Colorado signal-caller Shedeur Sanders, who recently spoke about the Giants and how he'd feel landing in the Big Apple.

Sanders and Colorado teammate Drelon Miller were talking about the Giants when Miller suggested that all the G-Men needed was "someone good out of the draft" and then clearing his throat as if to indicate that Sanders was that "someone good" the Giants needed. Sanders asked why Miller was clearing his throat like that and Miller said that he and Malik Nabers previously played together.

Sanders responded, "Come on, man, I don’t know. Nah I think it’s just up to the staff or up to the coaches at that point, I don’t know—no comment, that’s just a safe route for me. Just no comment.”

Sanders has to know that he shouldn't openly say "Yes, I want to play with them" or "No, get them as far away from me as possible" so it's not terribly surprising that he didn't reveal a ton here with his answer. That being said, Miller was sure excited at the possibility of Sanders playing with Nabers and Sanders' expression indicated that it wouldn't be a bad thing if that's where he ended up.

The Giants recently benched Daniel Jones and are going with Tommy DeVito at least for their Week 12 tilt against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With Brian Daboll coaching for his job, don't expect the team just to give up and throw in the towel, but at the same time, fans are hoping the team does just that so that they can get a better draft pick.

Sanders has thrown for 3,222 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 10 games with the Buffaloes this year. The Buffs find themselves in great position to make the College Football Playoffs and if so, Giants fans could have an extended preview of their potential franchise quarterback. Let's not get our hopes up though.
