This NY Giants coach is facing the most pressure for Jaxson Dart's 1st NFL start

It's now or never for Kafka.

For a lot of people, the NY Giants deciding to make a quarterback switch took three games too long, but the Jaxson Dart era has officially arrived for the G-Men. Brian Daboll confirmed the QB switch this week, with Russell Wilson headed to the bench.

Plenty of fans have had it with Daboll and the 0-3 start has them thinking that John Mara has to make a switch if the boat keeps sinking. However, it's not all on him. Come Sunday, the offense needs to wake up and stop being so vanilla. That's on offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.

Dexter Lawrence said what NY Giants fans were hoping to hear about Jaxson Dart

We don't have to tell you that people have been pretty upset with Kafka to start the campaign, with the play-calling having many pulling out their hair in the Sunday Night Football loss to the Chiefs. Against the Chargers in Week 4, Kafka needs to get creative and not hold Dart back. Will he?

Mike Kafka hints the NY Giants will finally open up the playbook for Jaxson Dart

"Yeah, I think there will be certain elements of just things that Jaxson does well, whether it was in college or high school, yeah you want to fit that system to any player to what their strengths are," Kafka said. "I think Jaxson is going to do a nice job and we'll put together a plan that he can work with."

Those weren't incredibly convincing words from Kafka, but he sure did hint that the offense is going to look a bit different with Dart running things. This is something that people have been calling for, as Kafka seriously needs to mix things up.

If he just does the same thing we've all seen in the first three games, then nothing will improve or change for Big Blue. It feels like the Giants are wasting Malik Nabers. Is Kafka going to do the same thing with NY's first-round QB for his debut as a starter? We sure hope not.

NY supporters have been bashing Kafka for a while and it's nothing new for him. Daboll's job feels like it's on the line if the NFC East side keeps disappointing. With Kafka serving as the play-caller again, Daboll may need to yank those responsibilities unless the offense can do a 180. It all starts against the Chargers. We'll see if Kafka can get some haters off his back and help Dart have everyone talking in a good way come Sunday afternoon.
