Now that the New York Giants pulled the plug on the short-lived Odell Beckham Jr. reunion, it's safe to say they could use another wide receiver. Behind the top three of Malik Nabers, Malachi Fields, and Darnell Mooney, things get a lot worse the further you get down the depth chart, and they'd essentially be one injury away from being completely screwed at receiver.
The options are slim, especially now that Darius Slayton is reunited with Daniel Jones in Indianapolis. But here's an out-of-left-field option: what about Tyreek Hill?
As he continues to work his way back from a torn ACL, it seems like the Cheetah is searching for his next NFL home. Rather than firing up LinkedIn or calling it quits after a devastating knee injury suffered last season, he's not ready to be done yet, and a recent Twitter post could suggest that the five-time All-Pro has the Big Apple on his mind.
I think I’m ready for some cold weather

No one writes more cryptic tweets than Hill, and if he's looking for a cold-weather team looking to push for the playoffs (that also needs receiver help), Big Blue could be the perfect place for his services.
Should the New York Giants consider signing Tyreek Hill to fill their hole at WR?
While cold weather could also refer to a reunion with Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and the Kansas City Chiefs, the Giants have some Chiefs connections on their coaching staff, as offensive coordinator Matt Nagy coached Hill during the beginning of his breakout years in Kansas City.
And given Nagy has been willing to sign former receivers of his who understand his system (like Mooney), who's to say he won't dip his toe right back into this well?
It's pretty rare you can see a five-time Pro Bowler available in free agency in the middle of the season, but there is a reason for everything.
He's coming off a gruesome knee injury suffered early last season, which included an ACL tear and other major ligament tears. And given how much his speed impacts his production, it remains to be seen whether he'll actually be available to play this season or even be the same player when he returns.
But with that in mind, John Harbaugh loves to sign former elite receivers over the hill. He did so with DeAndre Hopkins, Odell Beckham Jr. (twice), and Dez Bryant, so why not add one more to the mix? He's collecting these guys like infinity stones anyway, and even for the chance of Hill becoming his old self, why not?
The cold weather builds character and that New York toughness we all know and love, and that could see Joe Schoen look to reunite Tyreek Hill and Matt Nagy with the G-Men.
