The NY Giants lost again but at this point, fans aren't even mad about it. At 2-12, the Giants currently hold the worst record in the league. You know what that means, right, Giants fans?
It means that if the season ended right now, the New York Giants would hold the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Tankathon. This would guarantee them a chance at drafting whoever they think is the best quarterback prospect in next year's draft, whether that's Colorado's Shedeur Sanders or Miami's Cam Ward. The choice would be theirs.

The Giants are not a good football team. Fans have known that for most of the season but they manage to look worse every week. They cut ties with Daniel Jones, their 2019 first-round pick and the last time they took a quarterback in the first round and Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito, and Tim Boyle have proven they're not taking this team to new heights.
Now, of course, Brian Daboll is still playing for his job so he's going to do his best to ensure this team wins more games down the stretch. Giants fans, on the other hand, are hoping that doesn't happen. The time for winning was earlier in the year when there was still hope. Winning now only ensures that the Giants don't get to take whichever quarterback they want in the draft.
If there's one thing the Giants are good at screwing up, however, it's doing what they need to do. Let's hope they can lose their final three games and keep firm control on the top seed in the 2025 NFL Draft because otherwise, they're going to have to settle with signing someone like Sam Darnold or trying their best to trade up in the draft.
They have the opportunity to have the top pick in the draft and get the guy they want. Don't blow it, Giants.
