Video of Malik Nabers torching teammate is pure nightmare fuel for NFC East

Is your fridge LEEKing? It's a shame — you're never gonna catch it.

If you thought Malik Nabers' freaky circus catch was good, wait until you see his latest highlight-reel play. It might make that one look like child’s play.

The New York Giants might just have the NFL’s next great wide receiver. Last season’s 109 receptions, 1,204 yards, and seven touchdowns already feel like a teaser for what’s coming next. And remember — he did all that with one of the worst quarterback rooms in football. Now, with a revamped group headlined by Russell Wilson, expectations for Year 2 are climbing fast. Even with just two days of training camp in the books, it already looks like he’s about to take another leap.

Nabers showed elite-level traits as a rookie — the body control, athleticism, hand strength, and coordination were all there. If there was one area where he still had room to grow, it was refining his route running.

This clip of him putting Paulson Adebo in a blender during 1-on-1s is your answer to that:

Fortunately, Adebo was able to get up and walk after Nabers put him in the spin cycle. I mean, what a route and what shiftiness from the guy. That is next-level talent, and if anyone should be sweating right now, it’s New York’s fellow division mates.

Malik Nabers officially puts the NFC East on notice

Nabers’ rise is shocking to absolutely nobody. The Giants took him sixth overall for a reason. He’s that good. The NFC East got a taste last season, but if these early camp clips are any indication, he’s already leveled up — which is only going to make life more miserable for the rest of the division.

There are plenty of talented cornerbacks in the East. The Cowboys have DaRon Bland and Trevon Diggs. The Eagles have Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. The Commanders have Marshon Lattimore and Mike Sainristil. Two words: Good luck.

Those are a lot of impressive names... but it won’t matter. Not after watching that play from Nabers.

Expectations for Year 2 are bordering on out-of-this-world, but they’re warranted. Russ’ arrival seems to have already unlocked a new and improved version of Nabers that bodes well for absolutely nobody else in the division.

The connection between the future Hall of Fame quarterback and the future superstar receiver is just beginning. It’s only training camp. You can already see where these two are headed come September. If Leek is willing to embarrass his own teammates like this in camp, imagine how little he’ll care against his rivals.
