Giants fans have been bracing for life without Wan’Dale Robinson for a while now, and it’s starting to look like that reality might finally be here.

Per Jordan Schutlz, the 25-year-old has agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans on a four-year, $70 million deal (up to $78 milly) on Monday. Unless something bonkers changes between now and then, Robinson will officially become a Titan on Wednesday afternoon when the new league year begins:

I mean, this might as well be the least shocking news of free agency. Robinson has long been connected to the Titans, now that former head coach Brian Daboll is the offensive coordinator. The pair reunite on a jumpstart Titans team looking to build out its offense around quarterback Cam Ward.

Giants offense now has a Wan’Dale Robinson-sized hole

This is a good signing for Tennessee. They need receiver help as badly as anyone, and the 5-foot-8 slot receiver is a good start.

Robinson entered free agency as a steady, high-usage slot receiver who quietly kept Big Blue's passing game functional when things went off the rails. He’s not a size-speed marvel, and he’s not someone defenses will scheme for on his own, but he's a good slot receiver who can handle a heavy target load.

At his best, he’s a chain-mover who keeps an offense on schedule and gives his QB a reliable target. At his worst, he's an undersized gadget slot guy whose usage can outpace his impact. The TEAM NAME should know that they're getting a dependable piece who can help stabilize the passing game -- a productive slot receiver, not a featured WR1.

As for the Giants, it's officially "so who are we going to replace him with" time. It's time to make like a NY Knick and pivot to someone else, because there's 92 receptions and 1,014 yards-worth of production out there that needs replacing. Mike Evans is a potential target in free agency. Carnell Tate and Jordyn Tyson are options via the draft.

They did agree to terms with tight end Isaiah Likely earlier today, but the receiver room still needs a major overhaul. Let's see what they do next, but it's clear they still need a lot more help.
