Hello Giants Nation, welcome to the Live Game Day Open Thread at GMEN HQ. Tonight the featured matchup is: Giants vs Patriots. Who will start, how long will the starters play, which players will play their final game in NFL pads trying to achieve their dreams?
Lots of questions for this game tonight. Often times the preseason is cast off as meaningless, but for some of the fringe talent on both teams, this night is everything and it will be fun to watch them give it their all. Surely they know the drill, this Giants vs Patriots game is their last audition and final interview to make an NFL roster. How cool is that?

Keep that thought in the back of your mind as you’re watching these young kids battle for their hopes and dreams in the fourth quarter. Outside of that, this is just another final preseason game for both organizations. New England and New York alike are both trying to get back in the Super Bowl race — healthy. This particular game offers each team one final opportunity to get the kinks out of their schemes and figure out which 53 weapons they need to go onto a successful season in 2014.
