Of course the Giants have the upper hand in this battle because they won the game that matters. The Bills lost to the Giants in Super Bowl XXV. The Bills led 12-10 at halftime, but the Giants outscored them 10-7 in the second half to win 20-19. The moment everyone remembers is the field goal that Scott Norwood missed for the Bills that sealed a Giants victory.

Running back Ottis Anderson was awarded the Super Bowl MVP. He had 21 receptions for 102 yards and 1 touchdown. One of the most important plays of the game was his 24 yard run. The Bills of course one this game with back up quarterback Jeff Hostetler. Hostetler went 20-32 passing for 222 yards and a touchdown.

History suggests that this will be a close game. Every time the Giants and Bills meet it has been tight with the exception of a 38-21 Giants win and a 24-7 Bills win. The last time the Bills and Giants played was in 2011. The Giants won that game 27-24.

Fun Fact: The Giants beat the Bills in 2007 and 2011 and went on to win the Super Bowl in those seasons.
