Michael Strahan: My life is improbable
Stray: "My life now is teleprompters and scripts so I just wrote some things. This isn’t TV Michael, this is football Michael."
— Tom Rock (@TomRock_Newsday) August 3, 2014
Stray: "My life is improbable. I am an absolutely improbable Hall of Famer. I’m an improbable football player."
— Tom Rock (@TomRock_Newsday) August 3, 2014
Stray on his improbable entry to the NFL: "I get drafted by the New York Freakin’ Giants."

Before they took to the stage, Jay Glazer sent out this tweet:
Amazing in Canton. Got my son w me, Strahan got his fam: life is awesome here at HOF Enshrinement dinner. Truly honored to be w my brother
— Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) August 1, 2014
Now on Twitter you read stuff like this:
Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that Michael Strahan & Jay Glazer are BFF's?
— Brendan Dunlop (@Brendan_Dunlop) August 3, 2014
Really Strahan...Having Jay Glazer introduce you? All those players & coaches you played for/with and you let him do that. #FoxRatings
— Mike Wojciechowski (@CoachMikeWojo) August 3, 2014
Wow, well anyway…
That’s enough of that, some people will find the strangest things to complain about using Twitter. Apparently, Jay and Michael are good friends. It’s an interesting development in the world of sports where media members and athletes spend a lot of time together behind the scenes. Especially after playing careers are over and guys like Michael Strahan find themselves in front of lights and cameras in a different way than football offered.

Some on Twitter ALSO praised Jay Glazer for his thoughtful words, it wasn’t just negativity and cries of why not someone else for your crowning achievement, as if Strahan would pause the show and call someone like Tom Coughlin now that Twitter made him see the light. While humorous, stuff like that has no basis in reality. In actuality:
@Giants_101 @JayGlazer good job Jay!! Great intro for Michael
— Thomas E. Testa (@TTesta1) August 3, 2014
@JayGlazer's presentation was GREAT!! #Strahan #ProFootballHOF

Love that michael Strahan had @JayGlazer introduce him into the hall of fame! Journalism respect!!!!!!!!!
— James Howey (@How_eyseesit) August 3, 2014
Michael Strahan’s performance:
Lots of people like what Jay Glazer had to say, some even praised the notion of respecting Journalism, a fine thought. However, this evening was about Michael Strahan and the other Hall of Fame inductees having their moment in time. A platform for delivering passionate speeches about their NFL journeys and that’s exactly what Strahan did.
Now — how did people around Twitter think the night went for Hall of Famer Michael Strahan? Brilliant. Praise all around.
Expected Michael Strahan to deliver a fantastic speech tonight, and he's more than delivering.

Hall of Fame WORDS by Michael Strahan:
"There is no football or @ProFootballHOF without the fans. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say thank you." -- @michaelstrahan
— SiriusXM NFL Radio (@SiriusXMNFL) August 3, 2014
Michael Strahan is that guy.
Earlier today, GMEN HQ sent out a tweet and it’s considerably true. While not 100% of the people on this Earth love Michael Strahan, it’s hard for even the biggest critics to deny his charm. His success on the gridiron speaks for itself, but his ability to own a room and impact days can’t be understated. When a fan declares it’s hard not to love Mike Strahan, it’s true… even fans of other teams watch his winning smile and fall prey to his good nature and fun loving attitude.
Regardless of whether you love Michael Strahan or not, today was his day and when you read words like:
Michael Strahan is that guy. He's impossible to not like, no matter who your team is.
— Nick (@Nick87_) August 2, 2014
…all you can do is nod your head and say, well, he’s a Hall of Famer, what can you say?
Fans, football is tomorrow and Michael Strahan is in the Hall of Fame… It appears to be a great Saturday night in Giants Nation.
