The New York Giants and the New England Patriots have a long history. They’ve battled in the preseason, regular season and the Super Bowl. Tonight, they’re wrapping up the exhibition season as they try to knock off the final offseason rust for real football in September.

After tonight, the Giants could finish the preseason undefeated… but that honestly means nothing. The fun part of this game for Giants Nation is that if the Patriots win, their fans might actually feel momentary satisfaction for their two recent Super Bowl losses…

At least, that’s the theory. Who knows what goes on in the mind of a Pats fan… for this particular game both teams are just looking to challenge their roster depth, tighten scheme and stay healthy towards an efficient 53-man roster.
