5 Reasons New York Giants Shouldn’t Pass on Randy Gregory

1. Teaming up with JPP and Spags
When Pierre-Paul first entered the league in 2010, his football skill set was very raw. His athleticism though was freakish. Gregory seems to pose the same type of freakish ability as well.
The team is still unsure about who their starting defensive end is opposite to JPP, and Gregory would likely switch to that position in the Giants 4-3 scheme. With his outstanding pass rushing skills and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo’s heavy emphasis on building a front 4 to get after the quarterback, this could be a recipe for something truly special.
Giving Spags another weapon to work alongside of JPP plus the rotation of Damontre Moore and Robert Ayers could truly replicate what his defenses of the past brought when he won a championship with the team in 2007.
The reward and potential is so high I don’t understand how the Giants could possibly hand in their draft card if Gregory is still on the board without his name on it.
