Where Will The Giants Get Their Pass Rush?

5. Owa Odighizuwa
I’m so excited about this guy. He’s a pretty big wild card this season, considering we don’t really know what the Giants will get out of their athletic, high-motored 2015 third-round pick. And while the Giants don’t normally use their rookie pass rushers (see Moore above), Owa could be the exception.
JPP’s status is a total unknown this year, and Steve Spagnuolo showed in 2007-09 he didn’t just rely on the Giants’ talent along the defensive line, but also their depth. Players like Kiwanuka, Dave Tollefson, and Renaldo Wynn all generated a couple of sacks back when Spags was coordinator. Sure, it’d be nice if Owa got 6-8 this season, but if he contribute 3-4, that’s probably a reasonable, and good, expectation for their first year d-end.
