New York Giants: Week 7 Predictions and Projections

facebooktwitterreddit

The New York Giants virtually have a must win divisional game against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. They can’t afford to lose another divisional game, especially one that should be a win. No NFL team should be taken lightly, but the Giants need to take advantage of a Cowboys’ squad that’s hurting.

The Cowboys are missing their two best players at the moment. Dez Bryant won’t be back for another couple of weeks and Tony Romo might not be back until week ten. The timetable is still up in the air for both.

The Giants are hurting as well, but nowhere near as bad as the Cowboys. They are missing a few key players on the defensive side of the ball, but they should be able to overcome them.

The Cowboys offense is nothing to brag about, Joseph Randle is in the doghouse for fumbling. Christine Michael is completely unproven and the Giants’ run defense is pretty solid so the matchup isn’t the best in the world for the Cowboys.

Eli Manning is going to definitely bounce back against the Cowboys at home. He is definitely feeling the shame from the loss against the Philadelphia Eagles last week. I think he comes back strong and will not throw an interception unless one of his receivers hands the ball to the defender like last week.

Rueben Randle and Odell Beckham will both play despite being questionable. I think that the Giants are going to be cautious in the ways they use them, but in the end they will both produce.

With most of the attention coming Beckham’s way, I think Randle will step up and have a hell of a game. Something similar to the numbers he put up against the Buffalo Bills.

The biggest star of the game will be the very underrated Giants’ defense. They will walk away with multiple turnovers in the game and will create opportunities for the Giants’ offense to score. I expect the game to not even be close and that the Giants will steamroll over the Cowboys.
