The New York Giants have won as many games as they lost. They have shown amazing stretches of play. They have stumbled every time it looked like they were red hot. The Giants are 4-4 and their record tells us everything you need to know about this team.

The Giants are an average football team that has to overachieve to conquer their championship aspirations. The NFL is a week to week business and anything is possible. The Giants could get hot and win a Super Bowl…at least in theory. This doesn’t look like a championship caliber team though.
The Giants have problem areas on both sides of the football. This is a team that could have won every game they have played. The Eagles game was the one clunker that went horribly wrong. That being said the Giants were given every chance to win that game by an Eagles team that played almost as sloppily as they did.
