More from NY Giants All-Time Lists

We go from the oldest franchise on this list, to the second youngest. The Bucs had their inaugural season in 1976 and went 0-14. The first meeting between these two squads took place in November 1977.

The Giants have won six of the last seven head-to-head games with one of the most memorable coming in Week 2 of the 2012 season when the Giants scored 25 points in the fourth quarter to prevail 41-34. Eli Manning threw for 501 yards and three touchdowns. This was also notable for Tampa Bay’s coach Greg Schiano telling his defense to fire off the ball on a Giants victory formation kneel-down.

Tampa’s success came in bunches when they won three of four twice, once from ’79 – ’84 and again from ’97 – 2003.

Another memorable matchup came in Week 13 of the 1991 season when starting quarterback Jeff Hostetler was knocked out of the game with a broken back (woof) and Phil Simms came in to lead the G-Men to the winning score with less than two minutes left at Tampa Stadium.
