The Mountaineers junior transfer won the Big 12’s Offensive Newcomer of the Year Award for his play this season and could be a mid-round sleeper to keep an eye on should he elect to enter the 2018 draft.

Grier suffered a broken finger in the team’s loss to Texas on Nov. 18 and would require surgery on his throwing hand. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound quarterback completed 64.4 percent of his passes for 3,490 yards and threw 34 touchdowns to 12 interceptions.

Miller has listed the Mountaineers quarterback at No. 9 on his top 10 list. The former Florida Gators quarterback could boost his draft value with an impressive senior season and could look to take control of the Big 12 with both Baker Mayfield and Mason Rudolph set to graduate.
