It’s no secret that the Giants are shorthanded at wide receiver this season. Second-year receiver Sterling Shepard and rookie tight end Evan Engram have carried the load since Beckham and Brandon Marshall went down with season-ending injuries but draw a tough matchup against Arizona’s secondary on Christmas Eve.

Shepard is coming off an impressive performance against the Eagles in Week 15, and Giants wide receiver Tavarres King is coming the best game of his NFL career. Manning will need Shepard, Engram, King, and Roger Lewis to find holes in Arizona’s secondary but that’s easier said than done.

The Cardinals are stacked with talent at the backend of their defense with cornerback Patrick Peterson and free safety Tyrann Mathieu leading the way. Arizona’s secondary truly doesn’t have a glaring weakness, as 11-year veteran corner Tramon Williams and rookie strong safety Budda Baker have both played well this season.

The Cardinals have given up 22 touchdowns through the air but have also snagged 13 interceptions on the year.
