NY Giants Day 3 Draft Target: Jamaree Salyer, IOL, Georgia

There is no doubt that offensive line help is sorely needed for the Giants, and Jamaree Salyer, an offensive lineman out of Georgia, is almost the perfect fit. Salyer was a major contributor the past season for the National Championship-winning Georgia Bulldogs. Salyer has played in big games his entire college career, and never shied from the big stage.

In the national championship game, Salyer displayed his versatility, playing both left tackle and right guard, allowing just one total pressure in the game. Versatility is nothing new to Salyer. He has played snaps at all five offensive line positions in his college career.

Despite playing against SEC competition, in his last three seasons, Salyer allowed just two hits and one sack on his Georgia quarterbacks. Salyer would fit in perfectly with the Giants’ offensive line group, as he is close with offensive line star, Andrew Thomas and has battled Azeez Ojulari and Tae Crowder in Georgia practices every day. Since versatility on the offensive line is a must for the Giants, Salyer is the prospect the franchise needs.
