1. The coaching staff

One of the strengths of the Giants this season will be their coaching staff. After Tom Coughlin left, the Giants tried a variety of coaches and coaching styles that have all failed miserably. Daboll has the perfect combination of characteristics to make him a successful coach. He has a contiguously infectious personality which has recently been seen in his hype up videos before the New York Rangers games. One other important characteristic of Daboll: his drive to win.

While every guy wants to win, not every coach is willing to make the sacrifices to get that job done. When Daboll was hired, he was given the ability to choose a staff that would work well for him. Daboll went out and hired Mike Kafka, the quarterback coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, to be the Giants offensive coordinator and Wink Martindale, the longtime Ravens defensive coordinator, to fill that same spot with the Giants. One common thread between both: they never worked with Daboll.

When Joe Judge took over, one of his bigger hires was Freddie Kitchens, who was close friends with Judge. Daboll decided to hire the best people available for the roles and not simply hire his friends. The blend of the Chiefs and Bills offenses should finally move the Giants offense out of the stone age on O. And, a new, formidable pass rush and blitz heavy defensive coordinator should allow for Sundays to be highly entertaining for Giants fans this fall.
