After making the blockbuster move in trading disgruntled wideout Kadarius Toney to the Kansas City Chiefs for two draft picks, don’t think for a second that NY Giants general manager Joe Schoen is done making a splash. Leading up to the trade deadline, countless eyes will be on Schoen and Big Blue to see if something else gets done.

While fans are hoping a new wide receiver comes to town, the door is certainly open for another guy to be shipped to a new team. In this case, we’re of course talking about Kenny Golladay. Trade rumors have surrounded No. 19 for a while now and even he knows that him being traded wouldn’t be a total shock. Will it end up happening?

NY Giants WR Kenny Golladay wouldn’t be shocked if he’s traded

Golladay saw what happened with Toney and he understandably felt bad for his now former teammate, as he was hoping the two could make plays together. Now, Golladay has to wait and see if he’s going to be a part of the organization’s plans for the rest of the season, but there’s no question he wants to make an impact for the G-Men.

Due to a knee injury, Golladay has been sidelined since going down in the Week 3 Monday Night Football loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He’s getting closer to full health, as Golladay is eyeing a return following the bye next week.

"“Oh man, I want to be a part of it big time,” Golladay said on the Giants’ success. “I’m trying everything to get back out there. I’ve never even been a part of a team that’s gone 6-1. I’m trying to do everything to get back out there.”"

The 2022 campaign has been brutal for Golladay, as he’s only posted two receptions for 22 yards and he’s been forced to watch the last four games from the sidelines. He once again will be out of action in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field, but keep your eyes on the veteran WR for Week 10 to potentially put the pads back on. That is if he’s still with the Giants and not somewhere else.
