1. QB Daniel Jones

Following a relatively disappointing game against the Seahawks in Week 8, Daniel Jones stepped up big time this week, completing 13 of his 17 passes for 197 yards and 2 TDs in addition to 24 yards on the ground.

Outside of one missed throw to Slayton, Jones was nearly perfect this game, it is just a shame that Mike Kafka didn’t let him air it out more often.

Considering how poor the skill positions of the Giants are, Jones has played fantastically all season, earning himself either an extension, or the franchise tag. If he keeps playing at this kind of level, then fans will surely want him back in 2023.

Jones has been playing clean, efficient, turnover-free football all season and Giants supporters should be grateful for it. While he isn’t playing at a Pro-Bowl or MVP level, he has done exactly what the coaching staff has asked from him and more.

There were not many opportunities for Jones to make big plays this game, as the Giants played a very conservative brand of football, but he got the job done and led the Giants offense down the field time and time again. This was an all-around tremendous win for the Giants, and a W they needed, as after their next matchup against the Lions, they face division rivals their next four games. Brian Daboll must be proud of the effort showcased vs. the Texans.
