Believe it or not, the NY Giants have a chance to improve to 8-2 on the year this weekend. This is not something we expected to be talking about prior to the campaign getting underway, but here we are.

Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones and others will be ready to try and put together a strong showing at MetLife Stadium for the fans to enjoy. Will the G-Men be able to come out on top? Ahead of this showdown, there are multiple bets for fans to consider. In this piece, we take a look at three.

The NY Giants will get on the board first

In surprising fashion, the Giants opened last week’s game with an opening-drive touchdown against the Texans. People couldn’t believe it when Jones found tight end Lawrence Cager for the score. Well, as good as last week felt, look for NY to start this contest off with a bang as well. The Giants have -118 betting odds to score first. We think they’ll be able to get that job done.

NY will be on top after the first quarter

Thanks to scoring not one, but two touchdowns in the first 15 minutes of action, look for the G-Men to be on top after the first session. The Giants hold -138 odds to hold a lead after the first quarter, which should be the case. It’s going to be crucial for Brian Daboll’s men to come out hot in this one if they want to record a victory.

Giants vs. Lions will be a shootout

Fans have been used to low-scoring affairs for the Giants this season, but that won’t be the case in Week 11 vs. Detroit. This has the feel of an offensive shootout, with a lot of points ready to be scored. The over/under for the first half has been set at 22 points. We definitely like the over to hit in this case.
