1. Saquon Barkley will have a monster game

After regaining his place as the NFL’s rushing yard leader last week, it seems as if Barkley is ready to continue his dominance against a terrible Lions defense which ranks bottom second in rushing yards allowed, bottom second in rushing TDs allowed, and bottom third in yards allowed per carry.

We have seen Barkley dominate against weak, and strong defenses, so we really doubt the Lions defense will be too much of a problem for the 25-year-old soon standout.  The NY Giants offensive line has been very solid in run blocking snaps this season, and when you consider how weak the Lions defensive line is, this week should be a piece of cake.

Out of the entire Lions front four, they only have one player with a PFF player grade above a 65, that being Aidan Hutchinson. The Giants have dominated in the run game against weak defensive lines all season, so we should see a continuation of that this week.

On the season, Barkley has run the ball 198 times for 931 yards and six TDs, in addition to this, Barkley has also caught the most passes out of everyone on the Giants with 29. He has been without a doubt the best player on the NY Giants outside of maybe Andrew Thomas. If the Giants keep this level of winning up, Barkley will not only cement his place as a top two running back in the NFL, but he should also be getting some MVP votes too.
