The future is bright for the New York Giants, who have seen immediate production from this year's rookie class.
Everyone knows what Jaxson Dart has accomplished in his three starts under center, leading New York to wins over the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles. Rookie linebacker Abdul Carter has generated 24 quarterback pressures, which leads the team, and of course, Cam Skattebo has provided a spark for the G-Men with his angry runs.

Not only are Big Blue fans noting how Skatt is running the ball, but he is also being recognized among all football fans and the national media. The fourth-round pick was nominated for FedEx's Air & Ground Player of the Week, which he won alongside Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle. But it's not just packages he's racking up — the 23-year-old is also taking home a pretty symbolic scepter, which tells us all you need to know about him.
Cam Skattebo keeps racking up hardware for New York Giants
The battering ram they call a running back has given Big Blue Nation many reasons to be excited, both on and off the field, with his energy and play style. From taking off his shirt with Ryan Fitzpatrick after last week's thrilling Thursday Night Football upset over the Eagles, to backflipping in the end zone every time he goes in for six.
But there's one award he's seemingly a weekly candidate for: The Angry Runs Scepter.
The Angry Runs Scepter is given out weekly by former college running back turned analyst Kyle Brandt of Good Morning Football, and is given to the player who demonstrates the most physical run of the respective week.
Skattebo was awarded the Scepter after Week 1, and for the second time this season, he's bringing it home:

Last week against Philly, the rookie running back ran for 98 yards and had three touchdowns on 19 carries. Brandt credited the fact that he finished at the goal line when he had to, and created issues for the Eagles' defense, who had a difficult time bringing him down.
If this doesn't continue to give you reasons to love what the former Arizona State star has done in six weeks as a Giant, I don't know what will.
Big Blue is looking to continue stacking wins under Dart, and they'll have a tough matchup this week as they face arguably the most talented defense in the league, the Denver Broncos. So, you can expect the G-Men to ask a lot out of their rookie duo on offense to earn their third win of the season.
