I want you to vote... for New York Giants' rookie running back Cam Skattebo for FedEx's Air & Ground Player of the Week.
No one’s more deserving. Not after what the 23-year-old pulled off Thursday night against the reigning Super Bowl champions. In just his sixth career game, the fourth-round pick ran all over the Philadelphia Eagles to the tune of 98 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He added another 12 yards through the air on two receptions, delivering one of the biggest statement performances of anyone in Week 6.

The G-Men rolled to a 34-17 primetime victory in front of an absolutely electric MetLife crowd — and Skattebo was a huge reason why. The rookie is now the second rookie in Big Blue history to record three rushing touchdowns in a single game. You have to go back to Charlie Evans in 1971 to find the last one who did it.
Cam Skattebo’s Week 6 dominance earns FedEx weekly award nomination
When a guy rushes for 98 yards with 79 of them coming after contact, it usually means he brought his own blocking. And that’s exactly what the human-sized fire hydrant did.
He ripped off four explosive runs of 10-plus yards, tied for sixth-most by any back in a game this season. And he forced four missed tackles — with most of the damage coming against stacked boxes, per Next Gen Stats.
It was the type of performance that’s impossible to ignore. Especially when it came in tandem with another breakout rookie, Jaxson Dart, who himself added 58 yards and a score on the ground. The duo accounted for all four of the team’s rushing touchdowns and 156 of the 172 total rushing yards.
It’s not just a breakout anymore. This is a legitimate engine powering Big Blue’s resurgence.
As a bonus, every vote for Skattebo comes with a potential $2,000 donation to the Food Bank for New York City through FedEx’s partnership with Feeding America. The voting ends Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET — and Giants fans have a real shot to help their rookie and their city at the same time.
The G-Men haven’t had a running back bring this much juice in years. If Week 6 was any indication, Skatt's only getting started. He deserves your vote — he bodied Philly into oblivion.
