Cowboys' Micah Parsons blasts NY Giants fans and Joe Schoen over Saquon Barkley
It feels like just about everyone is taking some time to laugh at the NY Giants following the 28-3 loss to the Eagles in Week 7. Nothing went right on either side of the ball, with Saquon Barkley putting on a show against his former team.
Earlier in the week, future Hall of Famer Bill Belichick ripped Joe Schoen for letting Barkley leave in the offseason. Now, Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons is also trolling the Giants after Barkley's monster performance. Not only that, but he took issue with the fanbase too.
Leading up to the showdown at MetLife Stadium, Giants fans were spotted in the MetLife Stadium parking lot burning Saquon's old Giants jersey. Barkley said it made him smile and that he didn't really care. Parsons didn't like that, though, slamming fans, while also getting in a jab on Schoen too:
Micah Parsons took major issue with NY Giants fans burning Saquon Barkley's jersey
"Saquon returns back and he said he saw them (Giants fans) burning jerseys - his jersey in the parking lot. Like, what are Giants fans... are y'all just as delusional as the GM? You almost have to say this because it is not Saquon's fault that he is not back in the blue and white. "

This offseason, Schoen had a tough decision to make - pay Barkley or use that money to target other positions. In the end, Barkley signed a three-year contract with the Eagles, while Jon Runyan Jr., Jermaine Eluemunor, Devin Singletary and others were inked during free agency.
The Giants also made the splash move to trade for Brian Burns and give him a $141 million extension. So far, the offseason plan isn't really working out for Schoen and Co., as the Giants are 2-5 on the year and the season is already looking lost.
As for Barkley, he's once again looking like one of the best running backs in the game and he no question embarrassed Schoen with how tremendous he looked in the Week 7 Philly win in East Rutherford. Schoen never wanted to bring Barkley back for such a high amount of money.
He made a business decision, but it's one that appears to be backfiring on him. Parsons and others are racing to call him out for letting Barkley, the face of the franchise, walk.
