Is Malik Nabers playing today? Latest injury updates on Giants WR for Week 7
The NY Giants are getting ready to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and there are storylines galore. Obviously, the return of Saquon Barkley to MetLife Stadium is something that people are talking about left and right. Is he going to be showered with boos? Probably.
Elsewhere, Malik Nabers has missed the last two games due to a concussion he suffered against the Cowboys in Week 4. Luckily for Daniel Jones and Co., though, Nabers has been cleared and he's ready to start this showdown. Is a big game coming for the rookie standout? That's what Giants fans everywhere are hoping for.
Malik Nabers has been dealing with a groin injury for the NY Giants
In addition to his head injury, Nabers was also working through some tightness in his groin earlier in the week. This was a bit of a concern, as plenty of people were worried that perhaps it would lead him to miss the contest vs. Philly. That's not going to be the case, thankfully.
Before going down with his concussion, Nabers was leading the NFL in receptions and he was balling out each game. Now that he has missed a little bit of time, it's safe to assume he's fired up to remind everyone of how special he can be with the ball in his hands.
The timing is perfect too, as the G-Men would love nothing more than to send a statement by taking down their NFC East rival. The Eagles are 3-2 on the year, but they've been far from impressive in their wins. They barely took down the lowly Browns at home in Week 7.
A big question for the Giants will be how Josh Ezeudu performs now that Andrew Thomas is out for the season. He simply has to step up for this team to give Jones enough time to scan the field and find Nabers early and often. If Ezeudu struggles, it's going to be a major problem for the entire offense.
