Jaxson Dart has officially arrived, and everyone around the New York Giants organization has known it for weeks. Still, the national media and everyone else are just starting to learn about him, especially after the 22-year-old led Big Blue to a stunning victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in primetime during Week 6.
Dart has made a name for himself in just three starts with his energetic play. But with early success comes doubters — and you know it’s real when even opposing defenders are trash-talking. Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathan Cooper took a jab at the 22-year-old, showing he’s clearly unimpressed with the rookie so far.

While not everyone around the league has bought into the hype, his teammates are all the way in on him, and that's what matters. But leave it to offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemunor to come in with the comment of the year so far.
Jermaine Eluemunor's comments on Jaxson Dart are everything Giants fans want to hear right now
On a recent edition of the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, Eluemunor praised his rookie quarterback, stating that he has been around Tom Brady and Lamar Jackson throughout his career, but he says the 22-year-old is "different."
Eluemunor added, "It's cool to be in a huddle with guys like that, who have no fear, and knowing he's back there and can make plays as an offensive lineman to see your guy do that is the coolest thing ever."

This is the type of energy Giants fans have been lacking out of their starting quarterback for several years, and they finally have their mojo back. The 30-year-old went on to say, "He [Dart] really just wants to win, and it's really had a positive effect on the team, and everyone is just buying into it and feeding off that energy that he brings."
The former Ole Miss star has looked great through his first three weeks as the Giants' starting quarterback, but let's give credit where credit is due, as the offensive line has done a tremendous job blocking for him. Andrew Thomas has been dominant since returning from an injury that set him back from a season-ending injury in 2024, and the nine-year vet has been quietly impressive as well.
If that doesn't get Big Blue Nation fired up and motivated, I don't know what will, but Dart, Eluemunor, and the rest of the offense will be battle-tested this week as they face a ferocious Broncos defense. They'll need everyone to feed off the energy that the rookie brings, especially if they want to make another statement and prove the doubters wrong.
