Before the NY Giants even drafted star wide receiver Malik Nabers, he made it more than clear to general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll that he would not be happy if he didn't get the ball. He's a gamer and No. 1 always wants to be involved.

Unfortunately for the No. 6 overall pick, he wasn't featured much in the embarrassing 28-3 loss to the Eagles in Week 7. Nabers was ticked off and you know what, that's a good thing. The youngster plays the game with passion and he's not going to hide his emotions.

However, plenty of eyebrows were raised when he opened up about how he was feeling about things. Plain and simple, the first-round pick was quite frustrated with Daniel Jones not getting him the pigskin. Nabers told everyone to go back and watch the tape - he was consistently open, but his quarterback didn't find him.

Malik Nabers looked furious following the Giants loss to Philly

"Watch the target tape. That was it. I was open. "

That response came after Nabers was asked about the Philly defense making adjustments to keep him quiet, but his answer shows frustration with the quarterback play. Nabers suited up for his first game after missing two contests with a concussion.

He went down with his head injury in the Week 4 loss to the Cowboys, sitting out the win over the Seahawks and the loss to the Bengals. Nabers was fired up for his first showdown with the Eagles, but things didn't go as planned, as he finished with a season-low four receptions for 41 yards.

Nothing went right for the Giants offense as a whole, with Jones only throwing for 99 yards before he was benched in favor of Drew Lock. Daboll said he brought Lock in to create a spark for the offense, which didn't make any sense at all. Even Jones seemed annoyed with Daboll's decision.

Danny Dimes is expected to be the starter for the Week 8 Monday Night Football tilt against the Steelers, but the confidence in his game from the fanbase has never been lower. It's feeling like the beginning of the end for the veteran quarterback with the Giants. It doesn't help that his WR1 looked miserable after the loss to the Eagles too.
