Even Giants players can’t escape the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade nightmare

Not Disney World.

Jermaine Eluemunor has been a riot on social media in his first season with the New York Giants. The poor guy just wanted a nice, relaxing final day at Disney World with his daughter. Instead, he got an unwanted front-row seat to a Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl victory parade—because of course, he did.

The Giants offensive lineman was vacationing at the theme park when he suddenly found himself surrounded by Eagles fans chanting “Fly, Eagles, Fly” and celebrating their team’s dominant win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. What was supposed to be a magical day turned into an absolute nightmare, and Eluemunor made it clear he wanted no part of it.

“So I was going to take my daughter to the Disney parade today since it’s our last day here at Disney World,” Eluemunor posted on X. “Didn’t know it was the Eagles parade also sooo guess who’s NOT going to the parade today.”

Giants fans are already down bad after suffering through a miserable 3-14 season that ended with their former star, Saquon Barkley, winning a Super Bowl with the Eagles. Watching any Eagles celebration is painful enough, but being trapped at Disney while Jalen Hurts and company paraded around the park was next-level torture.

Eluemunor, to his credit, tried to tough it out for his daughter. But as the E-A-G-L-E-S chants grew louder, his patience wore thin.

“Now they’re doing the Eagles chant, ruining my last day at Disney forreal but I gotta be strong for my daughter,” he posted. “If I see any fans climbing poles I’m reporting them.”

The irony here is that just a few days earlier, Eluemunor had taken to X to downplay the Super Bowl, saying, “Feel like no one really cared about this Super Bowl.” The football gods apparently took that personally because he ended up in the middle of the Super Bowl celebration he wanted to avoid the most.

This is just another cruel reminder of how far apart the Giants and Eagles are right now. While Philly is out here winning rings and taking over Disney World, the Giants are stuck licking their wounds and searching for answers. Joe Schoen let Barkley walk, Brian Daboll is scrambling for a quarterback, and now, even offseason vacations aren’t safe from the misery.

Eluemunor’s Disney disaster might be funny, but it also sums up the current state of the Giants perfectly: they can’t catch a break. Whether it’s on the field, in the front office, or even on a damn family vacation, the Eagles just keep making their lives miserable.

At least Eluemunor was able to build a lightsaber at the park.
