Jermaine Eluemunor reacted perfectly to Orlando Brown recruiting Dexter Lawrence

Even Jermaine Eluemunor knows that the Giants have to make sure Sexy Dexy stays in New York.

Over the last week, Dexter Lawrence’s name has been all over the news after he requested a trade from the New York Giants. The news has not sat lightly with Big Blue fans, who were shocked to hear this and still remain hopeful that the All-Pro nose tackle would be a Giant for life.

Sexy Dexy has been frustrated with the organization, seeking an extension for some time, but the G-Men have yet to grant it. Although the two sides met, they've reached an impasse, making it increasingly likely that Lawrence will wear No. 97 for another team.

One of the teams that could be interested in trading for Sexy Dexy is the Cincinnati Bengals, who occupy the 10th overall pick in next week’s draft. With a need to strengthen their defense and the resources to trade for Lawrence, Cincinnati has become a frequently mentioned destination for him. Bengals Pro Bowl left tackle Orlando Brown has expressed enthusiasm for adding Lawrence to the roster; however, one Giant did not hold back from those conversations on social media.

Jermaine Eluemunor had the best response to the Sexy Dexy rumors

Kay Adams of the Up & Adams Show on FanDuel TV recently had Brown on the show, where she asked whether he would be willing to do any public recruiting for Dex. The Bengals' left tackle didn’t hesitate to say, “Dexter Lawrence is a baller. I think he would be even more of a baller in orange and black.”

Well, Big Blue fans aren’t the only ones who take issue with Brown and the Bengals’ public recruiting of Lawrence to Cincinnati. Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, known for his outspoken social media presence and loyalty to the Giants, made it clear he disagreed by replying to the tweet with a hilarious GIF of Stone Cold Steve Austin breaking his tough-guy character to laugh.

Eluemunor, of course, recently signed a three-year, $39 million contract extension this offseason to remain with the G-Men. He has quickly become a fan favorite in New York over the last two seasons, and his praise towards the organization on social media and willingness to take less money to stay with the Giants have won over Big Blue fans.

John Harbaugh and Joe Schoen need to do everything in their power to keep Lawrence with the Giants and pay the man what he wants and deserves. Yes, he is coming off a down year last season, but the All-Pro nose tackle had nine sacks just two years ago and embodies what it means to be a Giant on and off the field.

For now, Eluemunor and the rest of the team have to keep doing everything they can to keep Sexy Dexy in New York.
