Giants might finally exit Dak Prescott torture chamber in 2026 mock draft

Get Dak outta here.

The more Dak Prescott relentlessly dominates the New York Giants, the more it feels like he’s an AI bot sent to Earth just to torment them. For real. The 10-year veteran lost his first two starts to the G-Men, but it's been winning literally ever since. We're talking soul-crushing-level winning.

In 16 career games, the former Mississippi State standout has an absurd 14-2 record against Big Blue — including (rolls eyes) 14 wins in a row. It’s honestly one of the most impressive runs in modern history, but really, it just underscores how far the Giants have fallen.

But what if I told you that Prescott's reign of terror could be nearing its end? That would wipe two guaranteed losses off the schedule every year and at least give the Giants a fighting chance. In FOX Sports' Rob Rang’s latest 2026 mock draft, he has the Cowboys selecting Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik 12th overall — all but signaling the end of another decade of torment.

Giants could finally escape Dak Prescott's wrath in 2026 mock draft

To keep up with their... troubling times, the FOX Sports pundit believes Jerry Jones acts out of character and behaves proactively instead of reactively. While that's wildly unlikely, his selection of Klubnik holds some merit:

"Dak Prescott is not the problem in Dallas, but his prime might not mesh with their current reset, either. With two first-round picks in both this and the 2027 draft due to the trade of Micah Parsons, Jerry Jones will almost surely be thinking of the future. Klubnik’s combination of mobility, short-to-intermediate range, accuracy and intangibles fit nicely into what NFL teams are looking for in today’s modern-era quarterback. "

The only real bone to pick with Rang's analysis is that Prescott is the problem with Dallas, but that could just be the envy and grudge speaking.

All joking aside, the soon-to-be 22-year-old would be a very interesting pick for the seemingly directionless Cowboys. They're stuck between a rock and a hard place, with the rock being playing mediocre football, and the hard place being thinking they're better than they actually are.

At this point, Prescott is essentially rendered useless in Dallas. And it's been 10 years anyway... they should start over.

Speaking of starting over, it finally looks like the Giants are on the right track with Jaxson Dart. The 22-year-old former Ole Miss standout will get his first start Sunday in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Who knows, maybe Dart vs Klubnik becomes must-watch NFC East television moving forward. Let's hope it's Dart who wins 14 in a row this time, though.
