You almost had to double check to make sure it wasn't a fake account when it was posted. On Sunday, shortly after the NY Giants took down the Washington Commanders 31-19 at FedEx Field, rookie cornerback Deonte Banks took to to social media to let everyone know how he felt.

That's actually an understatement. Banks absolutely blasted the Commanders, ripping them for passing on him at No. 16 overall. With Banks being a star for the University of Maryland, a lot of people wanted the Commanders to keep him home. Instead, the Giants landed him at No. 24.

While plenty of fans loved Banks showing so much passion, others didn't like it too much. The list includes Big Blue legend Carl Banks, who decided to call out the rookie for his lack of maturity over the weekend:

Carl Banks was not happy with Deonte Banks for his Commanders rant after Sunday's win

It's hard to argue with what Banks had to say there. On one hand, yes, you've got to love how fired up Banks was to help his team get the victory. However, he handled things pretty poorly and his video took a lot of attention away from the fantastic win the G-Men were able to record.

Entering Week 11, not a lot of people gave Brian Daboll and Co. a chance to post an upset over their NFC East rivals. However, the Giants were able to play fantastic ball on offense and defense, with Tommy DeVito and Saquon Barkley stealing the show on O.

On defense, Wink Martindale's men forced five turnovers, with Washington turning the ball over six times in total. That's incredible work. With Banks, sometimes it's easy to forget that he's just a youngster in his first year in the league.

Joe Schoen and Daboll probably sat down with him and let him know that he's going to have better self control moving forward. This will be a non-issue, we hope, the rest of the campaign.
