He just put the pen to paper on a five-year, $117.5 million extension. After his brilliant 2022 campaign, NY Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas was also named a Second-Team All-Pro. Yet, he's not one of the best 100 players in the NFL? Yeah, that's a total joke.

However, this is the case according to the NFL Top 100 list. Throughout the week, we've seen things updated, with Saquon Barkley checking in at No. 31 and Dexter Lawrence put in at No. 28. Yes, that's awesome for the two Pro Bowlers and rankings they earned.

However, Thomas was left off last year and unless a miracle arrives on Monday night when the Top 10 is announced, the standout lineman won't be featured once again. This is yet another showing of massive disrepect for the Giants and their superstar.

The Top 10 of the NFL Top 100 will be released on Monday Night

Thomas, similar to Evan Neal, had a tough rookie season, but then he bounced back with some major improvements for his sophomore campaign. Then in 2022, Thomas solidified himself as one of the best left tackles in the game.

The fact that Giants fans can now proudly say that their favorite team has an All-Pro left tackle is something they've been dreaming about for years. Thomas was a beast throughout '22 and he was a nightmare for defensive linemen to go to battle with.

Looking ahead to this campaign, only more good things are going to be coming from him, epecially with the rest of the Giants offensive line expected to be much improved. The fact that he isn't considered among the best 100 players in the game is actually a joke.

It's been an offseason of people calling the Giants overrated, overhyped and a lot of haters saying that the trip to the playoffs last winter was a fluke. That disrespect is getting old, and there's no way Thomas should be brought down like this.
