Through three games of the 2023 season, the NY Giants surely are missing a standout No. 1 receiver for Daniel Jones to throw to. Everyone was hoping that Darren Waller would step in and be a star for the aerial attack, but he hasn't quite gotten off the ground just yet.

Enter a speedster from LSU for the 2024 campaign? Despite the '23 regular season just getting started, plenty of people are already starting to think about the next NFL Draft. CBS Sports just released a new mock draft and Josh Edwards thinks the G-Men will end up with the No. 6 overall pick.

Not only that, but Edwards has the Giants going with LSU stud Malik Nabers. Nabers is easily one of the best wide receivers in the country. Is his future in East Rutherford?

CBS Mock Draft has LSU WR Malik Nabers landing with the NY Giants

"New York has a bunch of wide receivers but none of them have shown the ability to take over a game. Malik Nabers is capable of being that player. He has the body control down the field to make acrobatic catches.

Nabers has been electric this year, hauling in 32 receptions for 523 yards and five touchdowns. The only issue here is that he checks in at 6-0, 200 pounds. Big Blue supporters have been hoping for a big-bodied WR to join this offense, but you can't ignore Nabers' speed and production just because he's 6-0.

However, as great as someone like Nabers would be for Jones, there's no question that Joe Schoen also needs to prioritize the offensive line next offseason - the group as a whole has been a nightmare to watch this year.

Because of this, people are going to be calling for Schoen to draft a lineman in the first round. Could Evan Neal be moved to right guard and a right tackle be the priority next spring? No one knows at this point, but the pressure is going to be on Schoen to get his top pick right. Will it be Nabers? Edwards thinks so, but prioritizing an offensive lineman will be key too.
