You just had a feeling that NY Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt wasn't going to waste time in making a splash at OTAs. While this isn't the regular season just yet, Hyatt was able to haul in a touchdown pass in East Rutherford on Monday during the first day of the extended work on the gridiron.

During 7-on-7 drills, Hyatt was found in the end zone by rookie signal-caller Tommy DeVito. Again, we know this isn't the regular season and it doesn't count for much, but it's still exciting to see Hyatt showcase his sure hands for six. You can see his TD in the video below at around the 20-second mark:

Hyatt, a third-round pick, figures to play a big role for this offense moving forward. While this particular grab came from DeVito, fans can't wait to see what he'll be able to do with Daniel Jones moving forward. Danny Dimes is surely a fan of his speed.

Elsewhere, Monday's OTAs session was also highlighted by a special showing from tight end Darren Waller. According to Giants.com Managing Editor Dan Salomone, Waller started his session off with two TDs from Jones, with the two later hooking up for another one.

With Waller's fantastic size, you already know he's going to be a major problem for opposing defenses, especially inside of the 20. With his 6-6 frame, Jones will look to throw the ball up for his big-bodied TE to go up and grab.

All in all, it's great to see both Hyatt and Waller showcasing their stuff in a special way. This offense has loads of potential for the 2023 campaign, as the new-look unit is something people are going to be talking about for quite some time.

Now, we'll see who else will be able to step up at OTAs on Tuesday. Another fun day should be on the way.
