With only one game left in the season, the campaign really can't end soon enough for the NY Giants. Sunday's heartbreaking 26-25 loss to the Los Angeles Rams was yet another setback for head man Brian Daboll and his staff.

The Giants will take on the Eagles this weekend and all signs are pointing to them closing out the year with a 5-12 record. It will surely be the final game at MetLife for several players. However, could that also be the case for big-name coaches too?

On Monday morning, insider Josina Anderson posted a pretty vague tweet, saying a major, unexpected move could be on the way in the NFC East. So, someone like Brian Daboll or Wink Martindale could be on their way out? This is what a lot of Giants fans are worried about.

A quick look at the replies to Anderson's tweet shows that people in New York and New Jersey indeed are concerned about Daboll and Martindale in particular. With Wink, there's been plenty of speculation about him leaving this offseason due to his beef with Coach Dabes.

The two have tried to shoot rumors down, but it's pretty clear they aren't quite on the same page. However, Martindale is incredibly valuable for this team, which is why Big Blue supporters are hopeful they can solve their differences and continue to work together. Despite the rough year, it feels like the future is still bright for the G-Men.

With Daboll, there's no way Joe Schoen would even consider moving on from him, right? Last season, Daboll was a rockstar in East Rutherford after leading the team to a 9-7-1 record - plus a victory over the Vikings in the NFC Wild Card Round.

Daboll and Co. were brought back down to earth in 2023, however, as the team enters the season finale vs. Philly at 5-11. Daboll is the reigning NFL Coach of the Year, but the embarrassing '23 campaign has a lot of folks talking about his future. With that said, there's just no way Schoen can fire him after one bad year. Everyone needs to remain a little patient and give him some time.
