UPDATE: Nabers was ruled out of practice on Wednesday, as he's in the 'early stages' of the concussion protocol.

The NY Giants have already flushed the Week 4 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and it's time to get ready for the Week 5 tilt with the Seattle Seahawks. A major concern for this team ahead of the trip to Seattle surrounds the status of rookie wideout Malik Nabers, who went down with a concussion late in the defeat to Dallas.

Nabers wasted no time taking to social media to say he was doing just fine from the head injury. It's yet to be announced whether or not he'll be able to play against Seattle for sure, but more good news keeps coming in on the elite playmaker.

While speaking to the media, veteran receiver Darius Slayton said that he was in touch with Nabers and that he was in 'good spirits' in his recovery. He added that he thinks Nabers will be fine, which is key with Seattle right around the corner:

Will Malik Nabers play against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5?

Nabers continues to work through the concussion protocol, but another update there should be coming in soon. The Giants obviously aren't going to rush him back into action, but the offense needs him out on the field if NY will have any chance at pulling off an upset.

In his first four games, Nabers has looked like one of the best receivers in the game. His 35 receptions leads the NFL, while he's second with 386 yards and tied for third with three touchdowns. If you have him on your fantasy football squad, the risk sure is paying off.

The more Nabers and Daniel Jones are on the field together, the better they look. Some people have tried to bring Nabers down for a pair of costly drops, but come on, there's no way the G-Men would even be close in contests if it wasn't for the former LSU superstar doing his thing.

Again, the Giants are going to want to take their time with Nabers and make sure he's fully healthy before letting him suit up. The concussion protocol is there for a reason. With that said, it's starting to feel like it'd be a surprise if he's not in action at Lumen Field, but we'll know more later in the week.
