Through the first four games, the NY Giants offense has looked significantly more fluid, and arguably better than last season. The addition of Malik Nabers alongside a revamped offensive line has fixed what was once a broken unit

Despite this, the offensive production still hasn't been enough to win more than one game and a catalyst of this problem has been Daniel Jones' complete inability to complete his deep passes. This has been a problem all season long, but it became incredibly noticeable against the Cowboys, as Jones missed several easy throws that could have swung the tide in the Giants' direction.

Everyone knew about Jones' problems with his deep ball. Jones simply must improve there. According to The 33rd Team, Daniel Jones is 2-of-13 on his passes of 20+ air yards this season, earning just 67 yards and throwing one interception in the process. This eye-opening stat makes it clear just how unacceptable Jones' level of play has been when trying to attack opposing defenses deep:

Daniel Jones is letting the NY Giants down with his downfield throws

The Giants offense has certainly improved from last season, but it's still being held back at a ridiculous rate thanks to Jones. He finally has his offensive line, his elite receiver, yet he cannot capitalize on his opportunities and fans are rightfully upset by this.

Going into a crucial Week 5 matchup against the currently undefeated Seahawks,Jones has to get it together if the Giants want a chance to win. The Cowboys nearly handed the Giants a Thursday night win, yet Jones consistently left points on the field with his inability to hit his receivers down the field. Against a team like Seattle, this can't continue to happen.

Overall, Jones played well, but this is Year 6 and we're still talking about him missing open guys. His receivers didn't help him at all with some unreal drops, but at the same time, Jones has to start getting better when big-time plays are there for the taking.
