With the regular season approaching, the NY Giants are ready to begin 2024 against the Minnesota Vikings at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Fans waited through a tedious offseason for months after a disappointing finish in the previous campaign, and general manager Joe Schoen hopes the G-Men can return to their 2022 form.

If Big Blue will indeed improve upon last year's abysmal 6-11 record, first-round draft pick and former LSU Tiger Malik Nabers must transform into the star NY drafted him to be. The wideout knows he is entering his rookie season with high expectations, but he does not feel the outside pressure. He gave a calm, cool, and collected answer to the media that you can see for yourself:

Giants rookie WR Malik Nabers is fired up for the regular season

According to Nabers, he does not feel like a rookie despite spending only 4+ months in his new system. Ironically, he is the third-youngest player in the NFL and the youngest player at his position, so he'll still need to do some adapting early on.

Nabers has shown that he is not afraid to back down from a challenge. Like many other wideouts, he is vocal on the field and already began trash-talking a rival corner. He brings swagger to the team
and is helping build a newfound culture in NY.

While he was not drafted into a favorable offensive situation with Daniel Jones at the helm for the foreseeable future, the 21-year-old speedster is willing to do what it takes to take his squad to new heights. The No. 6 overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft was the second wide receiver off the board and should garner the bulk of the targets from Danny Dimes.

We could see an entirely new Giants offense in 2024 thanks to his confidence and moxie on the gridiron. Let's hope Nabers can keep this mindset throughout the season and start his NFL career with a bang.
